Hi-Tech stables was started in 1994 with a goal to produce quality walking horses with the natural gait that have made the breed so popular. I wanted to raise horses that produced the "glide" just like many of the early champions. I remember watching videos of Strolling Jim and Hanes Peacock and wondering what it must have been like to ride such a smooth gaited horse.
Hi Tech started with big loose mares, with confirmation and a desire to please. We produced wonderful foals those first few years breeding with Stallions owned by Mr. Leon Oliver in Cornersville, Tennessee.
We purchased a stallion that is the grandson of the 1981 World Grand Champion, The Pusher, in 1999. Pusher's Silver Delight is out of a Sun's Delight D. and Merry Go Boy bred mare.
Pusher's Silver Delight has produced the type foals that we were looking for. Our foals are calm and easy to break. They have a desire to please and a natural gait. If you are interested in a pleasurable ride, take a look at some of our horses.
